You should really do a search on setting your pre load on your bearing and properly setting your castle nut for the correct tolerance for your bearing ,this is not the way you do it , unless you want to be doing it again because of premature bearing failure .

Finger tight thats it lol

Yup exactly!! Great video until you over tightened the bearing. Castle nut should be barely snug and let the brake rotor spin nice and easy.

12 ft torque is perfect.

you suppose to torque the nut a the end at 15 or 20 pounds to push the bearing, than lose the nut a lil bit till tou find the hole other than that good video

Just an fyi the with race driver you want to use conical side into the race. Helps keep race going straight and driver from walking. For that wheel bearing the manual states tighten nut to 15 ft# turn rotor back and forth and turn nut back 1 flat or 1 sixth of a turn an insert cotter pin. You want to have zero clearance, when vehicle is driven and bearings heat up correct preload is achieved.👍👍

It was different depending on the brake package the truck came with. This was the F44 HD model, and used Timken SET3 and SET6 for inner and outer.
