I have a blue Dahon III with the same shifter and need to find the center wheel and chain guard. The hub shows 88 made in England. Thanks, yours looks exactly like mine.

Yep - dating by the stamp on Sturmey Archer hubs usually gets you within a year or so. Hard shifting Sturmey hubs are most often due to cable issues, or sometimes gunked shifters - both easily corrected. I found your video because one is selling locally - did you get a chance to see how yours rode?

You're welcome and I did end up selling it. Sold it to a truck driver who needed something to bike around in when he was bored, stopped somewhere.

You can unscrew the chrome support at hand screw near the goose neck and then the handle bars will fold down next to the front tire.

I wonder how much this thing sucks when you want to go fast on a level surface? I always tend to ride higher gears with relatively low cadence on any bikes in general, And here I am afraid that I will have to pedal like a cocaine junkie if I wanted to go fast… what do you think about it?
