That's a Great truck but I already have one. An 81 F-250 with the 351w Supercab two barred back seat window also a long bed. That thing's a Beast and that's what I named it.

Had very similar paint on my first vehicle. Was an '87 Bronco but was grey on the hood and black on the side. Can't find that paint for anything. Seeing this 3/4 ton brings back some memories though. Had a straight six in the Bronco. Slow as hell but i loved that truck.

I'm thinking XL was not the lowest level trim back then, I think it was in the middle as this has a lot of dress up features compared to XLs of recent days. Custom may have been the low level. I'm still blown away that someone bought an F250 and only put 10,000 miles on it over the years.

Hard to beleave the milage those speedos where easy to change,i traded a 1976 i bought new i put 78k miles on it a guy lived down the street from me bought it 4 weeks later speedo only had 31k miles on it.

I just bought an 85' f250 original paint and interior that has the 7.3 idi, 1 toned out with a 4" lift, 35" open country's in aluminum wheels, with turbo, and intercooler kit for 5 k. It needs maybe 7 to 10k to restore it completely which I'm in the middle of now. It will out 4x4 and out tow that truck I'll bet.

It's a Dana 44 HD twin traction beam up front. Sterling 10.25 or a Dana 60 in the rear. Likely 4.10 ratio. I have a few of these trucks I bought for parts. I off road hard so i buy them when i can.

Dana 50 twin traction beam front. DANA 60 rear. But I think since 87 Ford has been using the sterling 11.25 inch rear axle.
