thanks for that review. This was one of my prized possession as a kid. I remember opening it up and assembling it. The cobra stickers on the bottom side of the boat look awesome but we had a heck of a time trying to get them on their correctly. And yes it floats!! used to play with this thing in the bathtub all the time.

@lunacy05 Thanks for watching! I think things like the fragile rear/side guns, windshields and searchlight lens raise the price of loose Morays. Don't be afraid to get a Moray with the missile box or hydrofoil mechanism "out of alignment", as long as all the parts are there it's an easy fix.

Great review on my favorite of all G.I. Joe vehicles. I have one that is complete, except for one of the large machine guns on the side; it even has the searchlight lens in place. Awesome videos, keep it up! :)

Another great video. I own a Moray and it was one of my favs . i would bring it in my pool it floats. My dad found the missiles in our pool filter and i cought hell for it. I still oun it and im trying to buy all the parts im missing on ebay GREAT REVIEW

@cliffthelightning According to the blueprints it's a cooling vent for the missile box. It looks more like some sort of purge hole for sea water facing the wrong direction, imo.

I got this on clearance in 1986 at a ben franklin store. mine would float for about 30 seconds then it would take on water at the hydrofoil clips. also the hull and red top part were warped a little when I got mine so the top never really stayed cliped o to the hull.

Love the Moray. Was one of the first vehicles that I bought when I started collecting. I did have to get a knockoff lens though for the search light. I used it more as a Dreadnok boat because there enough room for most of them. :) Did you do a "will it float" video for the Moray?

Do you remember the Cobra EEL with the webbed hand? I think he was a sort of maroon color kinda like purple.I dont know what the name was but imagine the Moray full of those guys! Awsome.

Do you mean on the upper part above the yellow missile? The Moray did not come with any missiles that had holes which would fit the peg on the left side. There is no peg or hole on the right side for a second missile.

This is one of the most impressive toys they ever made, size wise and also just it’s lines. The only other 2 that come to mind are the WHALE and the X-19 which are also amazing. Thanks for the vid.

Form BX257, here's an idea; use WHITE 'school' glue to fasten parts! it holds well, yet Won't ruin the plastic like solvent glue would. I use it myself; try it! Great review BTW

Boy this thing is loaded with guns. Maybe too many. Yeah the driver looks out of place. The yellow missiles look out of place too. I'm thinkin this whole boat is out of place until you pulled out the Eel. Then I got it too. It looks much better matched against the Eel figures color.
