if yu interested yu can find shops that will take a new or newer dirt bike and convert it to a trike. or if yu look and search yu can still find original trikes for sale. prices and conditions of them vary.

Tony I started restoring a 85 200x that had been parked in a co-workers garage for 15 years. It won't be as nice as this one but it should still look pretty sweet look for it on ebay in about a month. It's hard to make a profit on these. In fact I am pretty sure the bike was worth more parting it out than it was running but that is no fun. I want to see it get a second life with a new owner.

I have one nearly identical just not with the polished engine casing and those wheels besides that it’s just as clean and same everything…I get offers nearly every week for 5k and I never sell…of course I ride my to lunch and use it nearly every day here in yuma Arizona so that’s why I get alot of interest

raced these back in the day with Curtis Sparks power I tell people the 200x cost 1600 bucks and the motor build with pipe and carb set up was 2700 bucks lol

Thank you I ended up buying new fenders because the original ones had cracks in them. I was not able to get a plastic light cover and tried and tried to make it look like new and could not do it. I found out that using sand paper and a buffing wheel would be the best but maybe my buffer was not fast enough not sure. Wish I had the answer for you.

This is a awesome rebuild great work, you figure 150 hrs is like 3.75 weeks minimum wage say around $400 a week that's $1500 plus 4500 = $6000 + idk if that includes the $800 you paid for it but if not that's $6800 u have into her. I would love to have a 85 or 86 250r atc done like this I'm in C.T though I'm assuming you're done south? Anyways great job buddy keep up the work you have some real talent most people can't put a bike together this clean.

Thanks Im in VA and also have decided to keep it. Going to let the old lady drive her and Im going to ride my 83 250r and just got 2 85 atc 70s for the kids lol I'm working on the motors now rebuilding them they are so much cheaper to fix up. Ill get another video up when I get them finished and running. Thanks again appreciate the complement. Wouldn't mind having a 85 or 86 250r myself maybe one of these days.

Mine was in nice shape when I first got it but compression was a little low and I went all out on it. Paid 800 for it and now I have 4500 in it and over 150 hours labor. I have it for sale on ebay now and its a package deal with a 85 70 and also a 83 250r starting price 5500

I seriously cant see anyone paying $5500 for it.Its nice and I am sure you have some time in it,but it is getting harder to get parts for,many shops wont work on them and thats about 5 times more than it was worth to begin with.Not only that,several states have banned them from state parks so registration is limited.I do know that I have already begun to collect parts so I have them when I need them and they really arent that expensive.Nice job on it.Good luck selling it.

1ownerbigwheel guy Hey i agree with you , the 83-84-85 are not worth that much even if you put thousands into ita not worth it , now the 86-87 yes 87 is super rare they are worth alot but they are only worth the most when they are all stock original low hours , i saw a 87 200x go for 10 grand, saw one go for 6500 , saw one go for 8000 , and one for 5500 . dont get me wrong this 200x in the video is bad ass i mean just bad ass nice as hell 100% perfect , but it still dont carry a high value not unless you put gold on it
