Johnson Outdoors well you can duplicate these results with simple rattle can paint, but it’s all in the surface preparation (sanding, cleaning, etc). It would be a great gift, I would go for it!

I had this exact model brand new in 1984 was great ended up trading it for a paint job on my 70 Chevelle, I think they guy still has it in mint condition.

I when I joined the Navy in 1988, it was understood that no one would ride it without my permission! From 1988 on, it was only used when I was home on leave by me and others with permission! Now, I am in Florida and it is in a "barn" in the midwest waiting for me to go get it! Rode it 3 months ago btw!

Amazing work! Currently restoring 3 Honda 125M’s ranging from the years 1984-1985. They are so intriguing to work on and restore. Loved the video!
@optimoprimo1324 жыл бұрын
Props to you! I am happy for your accomplishing that and for your dad. I restored my 1990 Honda fourtrax 300 2wd. Not as well as you as far as the plastics but as far as electronics, and axles, shocks and bearings, frame, brakes and carb. Enough to know how much work is involved. After that I used it for 4 years hauling 20 cord of wood out of bush and with chains doing snowplowing all winter at grandparents farm. I sold it to a friend last year and it is still running. Honda must have made the most reliable atv ever. I never abused it but I definitely worked it to capacity all year round...

I remember seeing and hearing these when I was like 5 years old. Then several years later hearing the terrible stories about people being injured by them. Still that 3 wheeler is a total classic. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore for sure. Nicer restoration job sir. Your Dad is blessed to have a son who cares for him like you do.

I've looked at OEM fenders and you can never get a good deal. And when you do there either faded full of zip ties ect. Beautiful restoration on the bike regardless and I'm sure you're dad was beyond happy. I'm hoping to find and restore a nice 250 for myself and grab a beater 250 as my mud trike so I can retire my 200m to the next guy who wants a trail rig.
