Wow, I never knew that you could buy a Jaguar Vanden Plas, That car must be a very priceless rare car. They did of course make many made Daimler Vanden Plas cars that were a variant of the Jaguar SOVEREIGN (the car featured in this video)

The car was designed with 7" headlights in the fenders 'find a pic of them and you'll change the car over. I'd remove all the emblems on the grill and the hood ornament, 'maybe put them on display in the shop. 'nice looking car until you see it parked next to a series II

Wires don't look right on an xj6. That's why jaguar never offered them as an option.

Please where do i locate the fuel tank of this car? One of he fuel tanks of my 1985 XJ6 is leaking and can not hold gas so i need to remove and repair but am not able to see/know how to remove it. Please help

Fuel tanks, there are two, are right under each gas cap, extending to the tail lights. They are tall long and narrow. They are under the sides of the rear fenders, above the two mufflers that are before the tail pipes.

Yaw Asare On either side at the lower rear of the car are two bolted-on valance or closing panels. These are basically beneath the rear bumper side extensions- remove these carefully to expose the tanks. Remove tail lamps to get at the pumps/senders and wiring. Unscrew and remove the fuel tank caps either side at the top. There may be units just behind the rear wheels too. Get yourself a Haynes or Jaguar workshop manual. If you're not proficient at this, suggest you get it done professionally.
