I lived in North Central Arkansas in the mid 70's. Small town with a local cable provider because we couldnt get TV signals with just an antenna because of the hills. I got four channels for 5 bucks a month. The three Little Rock stations and WGN Chicago. Sunday mornings, if you didnt want to watch a sermon, you watched WGN and man, do I remember all those Bert Weinman Ford commercials and the Lincoln Carpet commercials.

Wow! 29 years later & what a difference - Harlem Furniture is gone { it was folded into the The Room Place }, First Metropolitan Builders folded the doors, Bert Weinman Ford closed up shop, Lincoln Carpets wore out, Evening Tides Waterbeds is down the drain, and Kelly Kean is just Kelly. Kinda sad.
