The great Charlie Jones, voice of many a Raider game

Used to love his idiosyncrasies…”we’ll take the countdown to the end of the quarter” He was a voice of my childhood for sure.

Charlie Jones & Don Criqui were my all-time favorite announcers, and as a Marcus Allen fan 1985 was my favorite year ever as a Raiders fan besides '83

Raiders d-line was absurd…Howie, Greg Townsend, Bill Pickel, Sean Jones… and that’s after Lyle Alzado’s career ending Achilles injury.

Love this! Being a born & raised Seattleite, I have always been a Raiders fan, long before there was even a Seahawks team. I love watching Marcus, Howie, and Lester do their thing, and see Dave Krieg getting sacked. The only thing that makes these films hard to watch is Marc Wilson and his pitiful attempt at quarterback. He just crumbles and falls most the time. Sure makes me miss Jim Plunkett and his stellar time as quarterback for the Raiders.

A rare period in Raider history, when they had a running game, a great defense, but a terrible QB holding them back.

84-86 were maddening.

@@manuginobilisbaldspot424half the NFL was like that back then. As evidenced by average QB like Mcmahon, Simms and Doug Williams winning superbowls

The good old days when raiders Defense was feared. Before Goodell ruined football by making it offense and pass happy

Wonder where Dick Enberg was with Merlin Olsen doing the color. Raiders had a championship defense in 1985…Wilson was absolutely useless.
