La Russa’s first game with the A’s I believe. And the beginning of Stewart’s ownage of the Rocket. But the thing I remember most about this game was the Red Sox were -3 dollars or maybe a little more. First time I ever saw a baseball game with that big of a favorite.

When the chieftains and that blair witch come play us at Empower Field it's noteworthy to add this to our arsenal should they discuss things to influence the outcome

After an IMO quite expression of condolences he makes a longer speech about fighting terror. He does not seem that much filled with sorrow for the 3000 lives lost … I’m starting to find more and more signs even though the results of us government’s investigations are mostly hidden from the public that this man has been even More responsible of tr@uma dea?th and cha0s than we thought

If anything else, the chieftains refs can look at this game to warn them of their consequences

Here is what I would call it--the first snap in this video........ "We heard from the weather forecasters that a very strong line of heavy thunderstorms is now approaching the Chicago area with very heavy rain, and in just a few minutes, the worst of the heavy rain, according to forecasters, will be right over Chicago's Soldier Field, and I think we are starting to get that downpour now. Lightning bursts and thunder roars were distant but I have a hunch that when the rains get heavier, the lightning will be very close, lots of cloud-to-ground bolts and much louder thunderpeals to boot. The refs may have to call this game very soon. As we see the formation, number 9 quarterback is ready--snap starts, number 9 step-drops, throws to Tommy Reeman and WOOOOOWWW! BIG, BRIGHT FLASH--VERY CLOSE CLOUD TO GROUND STROKE OF (interrupted by a big thunder crash)....LIGHTNING!!! And the crowd "ooohs and aaahs" in return just like after seeing firework shells exploding in a pyro show, but this is a pyro show of mother nature doing the lightning." The color commentator would probably say, "I now found out that the National Weather Service has now issued a Flash Flood Warning for central Cook County as well as a Severe Thunderstorm warning in the same area. Now, the rain is now coming down extremely hard--looks like 2 inch-or-more-hour rainfall rates, and I think this field will not be playable if the rain goes down too fast, and refs may have to call it as fast as possible, and (another lightning flash), as you can see another big lightning flash and (interrupted by a big boom of thunder), the biggest concern now is not just the torrenting deluge of rain, but also the lightning getting more dangerous, and we could probably see a direct strike onto the football field if the players do not clear the field as fast as possible, because you will never know when that type of lightning can hit on the field. A lightning strike on the field itself can lead to multiple injuries from ground current shock--maybe up to 100 or so electrocution injuries, and possibly a few fatalities. They better call this game immediately before disaster happens...."

But then the Dolphins dumped the Pats out in the first round of the SB tournament, so there's that.

Until Mark Davis sells the team there's no hope. He is the worst owner in NFL history. Which is so bizarre since he's the son of the one of the best owners in AL Davis.

I wouldn’t trust Tony La Russa to dig a hole in the ground after watching this wretched interview. He knew EVERYTHING that was happening in that Oakland clubhouse and allowed it to continue for years. All the top brass in MLB knew exactly what was going on and they all turned a blind eye! Absolutely deplorable. Jose is the only person who had the balls to come clean and actually offer his knowledge to help rid the game of steroid use.

"Experts agree, you certainly can't prove Bigfoot's existence." Yeah, that's the one salient point these *Bigfoot believers* don't have an answer for. I once got a whole bunch of these folks buzzing over a somewhat credible sounding "explanation" that Bigfoot was actually poorly adapted to the mountains because he had evolved on the northern Great Plains, then was forced to retreat further and further as people started settling the are. I even managed to convince them, with the help of a Plains Cree friend, that the original native name for "Saskatchewan" had been "Sasquatchewan," meaning "land of Bigfoot," but that the Canadian government had changed it to hide the truth. Oh, they were just gobbling it up, too..."yeah, that makes sense," or "I always knew he came here from somewhere else." My friend and I could barely keep a straight face, because we were fixing to burst out laughing the whole time!🤣 For my money, Bigfoot believers are right up there with flat Earthers, moon landing deniers and chemtrail believers. They don't have a lick of sense between them, which is why they're so gullible. Honestly, though..."Sasquatchewan"...that was definitely one of my better ones!🤣

Why did it take almost 40 years for someone (Greg Long) to look into the background of Patterson ? Why didn't the so called bigfoot researchers not look into this earlier ? Blind faith. I guess they were afraid of what the answers would be.

What you say is right but Jose felt he was taking the fall for steroid use in MLB that a lot of other players were using and benefitting from. He felt he had a few more years left at the end of his career but that MLB shut him out but not others who were using steroids. He was in revenge mode plus he needed money and the book publisher wanted the names in the book to increase sales. But still bizarre since Jose was the one who brought steroids into MLB and showed many players how to use them. Most have forgiven him by now except Mark McGwire who is kind of a head case to begin with. He was seeing a shrink for personal problems early in his career and was just as guilty as Jose who showed him how to use steroids in 1988.

20 years later, he's thrown 3 entire countries/territories under the bus (including Israel) and killed countless thousands of civilians and allowed thousands of Israelis to be harmed just to keep himself out of prison. Second biggest monster the world's had to endure since WWII (after putin). He's as bad as the monsters he failed to protect Israelis from.
