Let Me Know What You Think Of The New Project Car, Is There A Repair You Need To See?
@TJsxsx5 жыл бұрын
Its cool to see an import on the channel. I have always liked Nissans of this era.

It is always good to have some variety and I think the car is really cool.

2nd generation RX-7. Late '70s-early '80s Supra. And get rid of that cheezy AF muzak noise in the background.

Its nice to see a cool car that anyone could get being worked on.

Some of the sports cars from the late 80s and 90s are getting expensive but you can still get some of them fairly cheap like this one.

Keep the good videos coming! I haven't seeing anybody that documents and films quite as professionally as you guys do concerning z31s.

Haha crazy I also own an 86 300zx also. Been having problems with mine though. It won't run right getting into throttle. I haven't had the time to actually work on it. Been putting most of my time and money into the Grand Prix. I should probably change plugs and see what happens. I've changed rotor, cap, timing chain, water pump, thermostat and fuel filter
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you got a lot of work put into it. Taylor's zx would die at idle when we got it but the new plugs cap and rotor really helped it out.

@@BudgetBuildGarage Yeah funny thing is it had no throttle response or wouldn't have power under load. I got mad so I took it to car wash and power washed underneath the hood, drove off to car not wanting to move past 2000rpm and backfiring. Pulled over and checked the maf sensor connector. Unplugged it, blew it off and reconnected it. Drove off and car hauled ass like it never did since I've owned it!! 2 weeks after it started running horrible again

@@GPXironczech It is amazing how a bad sensor can ruin the way an engine runs.
@GPXironczech5 жыл бұрын
@@BudgetBuildGarage yeah no kidding, so I'm thinking that sensor is part of the culprit
@therealaidene2.0943 жыл бұрын
replacing my sparks and crank shaft sensor today bc my car will just crank and if it does turn on it misfires ik it’s not the pump bc i can hear it prime and i replaced the fuel filter
@mikejeffries77945 жыл бұрын
How much did the car actually cost? Did you spend $1200?
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
Taylor payed $900 for it.

How is the bus coming along? Glad to hear that it is being worked on, hopefully with some filming also. Daily driven hoopties are the best, as long as the radio can drown out the squeal from the power steering pump or the wheel bearings they are good to go...
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
The bus is coming along great! This hooptie doesn't have any bearing or power steering squeals which is awesome because the radio doesn't work. As soon as we do get the radio working im sure we will find plenty of squeaks to drown out.

hey guys, yep, i reckon those spark plugs were the culprit with your starting issues ::) they were pretty crusty. still, a small block Chevy, hmmmm :) cheers from Australia, looking forward to the bus updates :)
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
Taylor is really fighting against the small block but I think he will come around. The bus has had a ton of work since the last time we showed it. Most of the plumbing is done as well as the counters and cabinets. Hopefully Taylor will get an update soon.
@andrewmurray67725 жыл бұрын
@@BudgetBuildGarage yeah, Taylor will come around when he realizes that Nissan V6 is almost the same size as a small block Chevy, even a 289 would be perfect :)
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
I took a couple of rough measurements and I think it would fit without to much trouble.

What if you live in an apartment and have *no* place to wrench on it!?

Rode hard and put away wet means riding a horse until it is all sweaty and just leaving it in a stall instead of cleaning it up. Bad for the horse, chills and what not.
