I worked on, and subsequently drove one of those in 1995. It had bad ball joints in the front and was pretty scary due to the power. I could still see the potential, however.

Scary cause of the power or bad ball joints? I finding mine to be sketchy when I drive it back to back with my '09 997.2 cause I'm used to its handling.
