YESS! you finally did it, the B.A.T. is my 2nd favorite Cobra figure from the 1986 line. They are oozing awesomeness! Kevin thx for your help by answering my questions. Especially on the Viper glider, the seller I was working with asked too much for it, even in decent condition. I use your review and HCC788s to aide in purchasing Joes. You both saved me money. My hats off to you, I'm a solid fan of your show, now. I've been sharing these reviews with my friends!!

Nice review. I am a big fan of the v4 BAT (2003), which is a v2 BAT with the classic color scheme. They are much cheaper to army build, but there is nothing like the classic.

how would a bats grab the second weapon to use two at the same time since that would require a hand?

I kind of thought they would eject the second hand, reach back into the backpack and connect to whatever arm attachment was sticking up. I guess it wouldn't work since the extra arms are stored upright...

Was the second version of the B.A.T. a straight repaint of the original?

No, it was an all-new mold. They did keep the lenticular chest sticker and interchangeable arms as features - but those were new, too.

I still think of this as a cyborg because I like to think cobra does fucked up things to captured gi Joe soldiers or dead/wounded cobra soldiers does that make sense
