I was there every year from 1970-2018. God I miss those boats.. what you see in this race is the best thing that happened in hydroplane racing.. transitioning to the jet fighter cockpits that made the drivers much safer

I'll always find it amazing the Kropfeld never won a Gold Cup. Crazy!
