Welcome to Garage Denali! In this video, I my friend John and I start painting interior pieces for his 1986 Ford F-150! We also do some rust prevention coating on the underside of the truck. Check out my channel for other videos!

I'm doing a restoration on my 85 f150 and did all my interior trim the red was just so faded. I wet sanded the door panels and used scotch bright pads on the rest and got the paint from LMC truck. It was a little darker than the original color but not too far off. It was a lot of work and the biggest pain was getting the metal trim around the top on and off. Also going to be doing a coat of rust preventative on my frame shortly. Love seeing the progress on other similar projects. Keeps me motivated on mine!

I have have an 85 f150 an plan on repainting the interior plastic trim. I was excited to see your video. To be honest though, painting with a spray can isn't exactly rocket science. I was wanting to learn how to remove and replace the trim pieces. You seem to just want to do a fast easy video though, not showing the difficult part. You need to do a lot more planning and work. Just talking off the cuff isn't very enlightening.
