I own a version of that bike . It's older than that one is , but they look damn similar ! Mine is the 1972 Honda tl 125 . It's the first bike I ever rode at 6 years old ,and still sits in my garage today at 33 years old . She needs a little help to be trail worthy again , but she's all there . I can remember being in croom back in the 80s and early 90s when I was a kid , and it turned heads then . People were amazed that a bike that old could climb so well , but it is after all a trials bike through and through . Someday it will be back out there climbing the " amigo trail " : ) as mototrippin named it .

Had one for 20 years. XR200 engine with small carbs and valves, soft cam. 1st gear is too long for trials so I went one down on cs sprocket. Miserable for adult...my 8 yr old son fit it, rode it all over SE Utah. Very quiet....I was in the SantaCruz mtns riding....stopped and heard a noise....some guy was cleaning MJ. 30 ft away...I pushed the bike a little, started it and he never knew I was there. Very quiet

Purr Cat I had one too. People massively gear these down for trials as did I and the it works. Bar risers are a must for an adult. Those two mods and I could trial mine and I’m 6’2.

As I recall, the Reflex has a dry weight of only 204 pounds. When young I could pick that or an XL185 up to load into my van.

+JBHondaMotovlog If you mean the place in this video, I wish I could ride there often! Unfortunately I filmed this while on a trip. My normal riding areas at home aren't nearly so nice

+BlackSnowTech Thanks for the opportunity! Honestly, I'm not 100% sure about riding subscribers' bikes, all the ones I have ridden so far belong to close friends and family. Only because if the worst happened, I would never want to be the one who wrecks someone else's bike.
@BlackSnowTech9 жыл бұрын
oh true, to be honest right now its not safe at all but i still drive it, we are talking battery bungied to back of seat and wired to battery box cuz its wrong size, wrong front brake line, both bald tires, no rear brake, horrid oil leak, bad clutch. but if you wanted to ride it that would all be fixed because i just ordered all new parts yesterday lol.
@BlackSnowTech9 жыл бұрын
but yea if you ever wanna ride together sometime, not sure your policy on that but just let me know Chief Jay

BlackSnowTech Still figuring that out myself. I may try and set up a small ride soon, we'll see.

Nice old bike and great place to ride but I have to say that it's definitely NOT to slow to ride on the road. There are quite a few small cc motorcycles and scooters on the road that are a good deal slower than your Honda.
@ChiefJay9 жыл бұрын
+brians48now Legally, yes. But I know I wouldn't feel comfortable taking this anywhere outside of 35mph zones. It isn't the motor, it's the gearing.
