Wow. what an inspiration and how lucky Lionel Richie was to have such strong, beautiful and smart woman in his life to guide him. His grandmother and mother was a huge influence in his life and it is so wonderful to see how he loves and looks up to them. Absolutely to so beautiful to see his humble beginnings. Not everyone is perfect & in one interview he was in, he stated that “every time he says “I love you” he loses a house”…. That really sucks.

Indeed. And then he took a long hiatus from recording and performing. He did not reappear much until about 2000 and released a major record in 2003. By 2006, he was performing live internationally. And now he has returned into the spotlight, once again.
