Congratulations on your STE. I've always had a place in my heart for these since 1984. Yours is the first year with the composite headlights and the 4-speed auto. A 5-speed manual was on the books for that year but I think they're unicorns. In its day it got great press and was even a 10 best for a couple of years. Good luck on the restoration!

Nice car. I still drive a 1990 Pontiac 6000LE. I had the body repainted by MAACO, and my interior redone. I still use it as a daily driver. It still garners lots of looks.

my first and only new car i bought was this exact model/year color -its a clone lol -this was ballin back in 86 -basketball inflator in the trunk -impressive dash ~loved it -depeche mode "violator" cassette incl !!
