Nice work. I had a Mckee 14 for 2 years. I upgraded it from the original 25hp Johnson to a 40hp Suzuki two stroke. The 30hp four stroke looks like a good choice.

I love your project I had one a tad older but the same hull design accept I built a new transom and put a 65 4cyl, mercury on mine.LOL

Also thinking about doing this as well on an old 16' crabbing skiff, trying to decide between tiller and a side console. This video is helpful (plus your unpacking video) - would love to see your McKee Craft out on the water!

Did those controls come with the motor? Did you buy the motor online?

Did you have to switch/reverse the control box to have it at your center console vs being at a side console mount?
