サラマンダは腐るほどプレイしましたがライフフォースは一度も無いです、それにしてもいいゲームミュージックだ。

3面のBGMがお気に入りです。 ちなみにナムコの「ドラゴンスピリット」も良いです。 しかし、このプレイヤーは隕石が来ない僅かな隙間でやり過ごしたり、オプションを予め敵の動線に置いておくなど、やり込みが半端ないです。

沙羅漫蛇の海外タイトルだけど後に逆輸入的な感じでアーケードに｡ 稼働当時は九州の小倉のゲーセンにあった｡ 2Pの方がオプションが程近い所にあるから知り合いは2Pでプレイしていた奴等ばかりだった｡

海外版 沙羅曼蛇である「LIFE FORCE」は、名前が異なるだけの中身は沙羅曼蛇（背景だけが、星ではなく網目状の神経細胞？）。 国内版「LIFE FORCE」は、グラディウスと同様のカプセルによる選択式パワーアップシステム。 初めてプレイした沙羅曼蛇が、海外版 沙羅曼蛇の「LIFE FORCE」でした。 普通のジョイスティックは倒せる可動形状が四角形ですが、純正アップライト筐体のコレは可動形状がガッチガチの八角形で、とても操作しづらかったのを覚えています。(;´д｀)トホホ

Same here. I'd been thinking for the better part of 30 years that Life force was basically Salamander...and that this game didn't exist in JP.

Arcade Salamander and Life Force are two different games in Japan. The Japanese Life Force took the US theme and added the Gradius powerup system. Think Street Fighter II and Street Fighter II Turbo.

Excellent gameplay. Replay Burners on top of it. EDIT: I do wish you would've fought that last boss (Snake on the brain) full on just once. Otherwise, excellent.

少しずつ視聴を進めて、最後まで見終わりましたが、周が進むほど、特に1〜3面が難しそうだと感じました（残機が2まで減ったところで、本当に1000万行くのかとヒヤヒヤしたｗ）。 横シューが大の苦手なので、自力でできる可能性は低いと考えます。今後も良い動画が見られるといいと思います。

The speed of scrolling gives me anxiety. I liked the pace of NES version. Of course the NES didn't look this good. The NES would turn itself off and walk away if it had to deal with 4 options and frickin lasers.

Salamander, the original version of Life Force, came out in 1986 at arcades in Japan. It was a phenomenal game back then, and had inspired other games such as Darius (Taito), R-Type (Irem), etc... It pretty much changed shooting games forever. It was produced by Konami as you could tell.
