It's only obscure because it's missing a rockin' Chris Huselbeck soundtrack. But then again, it is rather funny how much this game was heavily inspired by so much of the hit mecha shows of it's time, much in the same way that Turrican was heavily inspired by this game.

奇ゲーのデコと変なイメージだけで語られちゃいことも多いですが、実際は「ゲーム性」をよく考え、作り込まれた作品も多く、サイコニクスオスカーもその一つだと思います。ホント懐かしいですね、動画投稿ありがとうございます（基盤持ってますが、さうがに最近火を入れることもなかったので・・・・）　系統の流れとしてはここからウルフファングかしら？

I played this a lot in the arcade in the late 80's but it was damn hard so I didn't get very far. It's an amazing game and I'm surprised it's not more well known. And it's very clear that Turrican was inspired and based on this game.

One of the better memories of my childhood, one 20 cent piece would last me a half hour and I'd finnsh the game. Just one thing, you have to do it on your first life, else you loose your powerups and it becomes very hard towards the end.
