I have a pair of derale single speed fans on the setup mode should select two or dual?
@g3garage8 ай бұрын
I would select 2 so you can control them individually depending on how you wire them. Holley incorporates 2 trigger wires, one for each fan. Hope this helps.

@@84SS931 Sorry for the mention of the Holley unit. I've since upgraded to a Holley sniper and now use it to control my fans. So on the Dakota, Fan Low connection would control your first fan (primary fan) and Fan High would control the second fan to come on at a higher temp or when the A/C is turned on.

Are you happy with your upgrade ?is it worth it
@g3garage4 ай бұрын
Yes, this is a great setup for price. I am, however, going to upgrade to a fan setup that has a bit more cfm than these stock fans. I'm running a 400 sbc (which typically run hot) with a mild cam here is the Houston area, and when we get close to triple digit temps and I'm running the A/C, the fans just can't quite keep up. Hope this helps.

@@g3garage yes that helps I wanted to make sure the fans actually help when it’s over 100 degrees with having the ac on with out overheating. we had a major heat wave in California.

I'm assuming these fans pull the air in and don't push air out ?
@g3garage3 жыл бұрын
I have these setup as pullers on the back side of the radiator. You can reverse the wires going to the fans and set them up as pushers if you want to install them in front of the radiator. Thanks for your comment.
