Here is a two part interview of Fleetwood Mac by Rona Elliot on the Today Show on NBC in 1987. The interview mostly talks about the band's most recent album Tango In The Night. The first part Rona talks with John McVie and Christine McVie. Part two is with vocalist/writer/producer Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
Nothing too crazy here, but I couldn't find this specific segment anywhere so I figured it was worth sharing. I apologize for it being a little choppy but KZbin straight up BLOCKED the whole video because of the clips from the 'Big Love' music video. So if you're wondering what got cut just watch that. The only commercial on here was for 'Beverly Hills Madam' so I went ahead and left that intact.
This box of tapes has several Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, and MTV clips from the 1980s on them, so if you're a fan of any of those please Like and Subscribe (and even Turn on Notifications) to see those when I upload them.
All captures done by me from tapes I own. I do not however claim any ownership of the clips contained. Please feel free to use them for whatever you want, but please give credit:)

@@lorenamares1427It’s the second best selling album for FM, after Rumours of course. The album is underrated tho, because a lot of album tracks aren’t given much recognition, Tango in the Night, Isn’t it Midnight, Welcome to the Room…Sara, are all incredible songs, but aren’t given much credit compared to album tracks like Landslide, Second Hand News, Monday Morning, Songbird, etc. The album isn’t really remembered, but the singles are really well known, especially Everywhere and Little Lies

@@HistoryRepeatingTMU Yup. It's an excellent album. I really enjoy Family Man. The beginning of Everywhere can be heard on a commercial for one of the retailers; I forget which one. Anyway, I'm really glad they made it because it sounds like such a happy album to me.

@@heyvernitsvhs According to something I read years ago - he didn't want to tour, but didn't tell the rest of the band until 'Tango' was released. There are conflicting accounts of why he said no. One was that other band members were still doing too much drugs and he worried that live shows would be a mess. Another was that he had wanted to promote one of his own records on the back of a successful Fleetwood Mac album. God knows though...

Actually, at this point, she had been through rehab at Betty Ford, and was cocaine-free for almost 6 months. Unfortunately, she'd been been very wrongly talked in to seeing a therapist, who tragically prescribed Klonopin to her, in early Winter 1987, which virtually ruined the next 7 years of her life. She looks great here, though...the tranquilizers hadn't really taken effect yet.
