1993-1994 the building was closed there wasnt a tournament that year. 1995 it was restarted at hoffman lanes& has been going ever since there.

Hoffman estates does have league play but not on the lanes used for the petersen classic.

When did they close down its former location? When did the venue move to AMF Hoffman Lanes? I wonder if Hoffman Lanes has leagues or has open bowling?

it's my guess they try to replicate the oil pattern and the rack of pins always being off
