Dont give up Austin. This is how it is for everyone trying do do videoes of car repaires. You will get there just keep fighting.

That was a tough job! But is there a online pedition I can sign, that you get Weird Beards AAR lift and a nice space in one of that barns?? The car port belittles the hard work a bit, a decent shop reflects the efforts way better. A lot of mechanics would have thrown the towel, even with a kinda sweet project like the RAM charger. 🏆💯

Unfortunately that lift is long gone, it's been sitting for to long under the sun. I would like to have a space all to my self, but I have been given verbal permission to use AAR's 4 post and Santa's 2 post. Just need to get it down the road to one of those locations(I'd like to drive it there)

At least you do not have much rust. Was wrenching on my wife's 2013 Ford Explorer took me 3hrs to replace the lower control arms, and sway bar links.

Make it 2500 and its yours lol..... I still want to finish this project but I'd have another project idea that involves a different RamCharger. It's just an idea, it will probably never happen.

Hey Austin, good job. I'm wondering if you've learned a lot of "battery tech" in you new job, or perhaps there are "experts" on staff there that could be interviewed about the care, maintenance, and revival of the various types of batteries? It would make for good (sponsored?) content while helping you grow the channel.
@austincarr54413 жыл бұрын
This is true, I have learned alot and may be able to pass it on. I will say that I am no expert yet but I hope I can help educate others. I may do a video about what I do at work and what I have learned.

So what technique persuaded the pitman arm to come off?

all dodge 4 wheel drive trucks from the 80's wander. it's just something to get used to. also why there's a warning sticker on the driver's side visor.
@austincarr54413 жыл бұрын
I removed the visor from the truck, I'll have to see if it is still on there.. but I agree there will probably still be some
@robertvance18733 жыл бұрын
Actually they should have gave you a adjustable 3 footed puller, that's what they loaned me when I did mine and I'm glad you didn't get Hit in the crotch like I almost did when the one I was taking off finally let go, pitman arm is not fun.
@austincarr54413 жыл бұрын
No fun at all. I put some anti-Seize on the pitman arm splins so it will be easier to remove in the future. Hopefully it helps!
