Mannnn!!! I swear I watched NFL yearbooks left and right as a kid and I don’t recall Berman narrating any of them. This is awesome!!!! Wish he would’ve done more!!

I thought cornerback, Easley, was up there with 49ers' Ronnie Lott. In the same mode; big guy, devastating hitter, ball hawk... People knocked Bosworth but I don't think that's fair. Sure, he hyped it up but made the most of his chance and likely knew it couldn't last forever. He was a clever resourceful marketer of his talent, and was solid player. Some talk about Bosworth's collision with Bo Jackson at that goal line, but I don't know ANYBODY that Bo Jackson didn't get the best of, that went head-to-head with him like that. Craig was great at QB. He was very mobile, had a decent arm. Lots of great athletes on that team.

Brian Bosworth showed in this his rookie season of 1987 that he had excellent footwork, a great burst, and was a punishing tackler with big-play flair. But although he was gifted enough to elude blockers, he would not really attempt to elude blockers. He tended to overrate his own strength, and would attempt to overrun enemy Offensive Linemen, and because they were considerably bigger in the NFL than his collegiate opponents were at Kansas State, I don't know for a fact that that was exactly what happened to Bosworth's shoulder, but the likelihood is there that attempting to overrun opposing Offensive Line men instead of attempting to elude them, was what caused Bosworth's shoulder problems in the future, in which the only solution to those shoulder problems would be to be forced into early retirement.

Chris Berman did voice work for NFL Films. I thought the Sabols had high standards.
