@@AdamzGarage I hear you about the new ones . I am on my 14 th quad , all brands have all kinds of querks and issues . When I bought the 1994 230 the dealer had two of them and my buddy bought the other one . They went through alot of mud and snow for being two wheel drive . Thank you for caring enough to give it a good home . Ride safe , stay healthy .

I noticed the different handlebars right away, I have a 93 2230E, all original but the frame is rusty in a few spots so Im going to grind it off and paint it with rubberized stone guard, I done the foot pegs and heel guards already and they look great with stone guard black, the plastics have 1 little crack under the seat but you cant see it

I've got exactly the same quad in the UK, I'm torn between restoration or selling for parts. Its runs, rides and stops i pulled it from a barn 4 months ago she'd not been ran for 10+years and it started with fresh fuel choke off on the 3rd pull and starts first pull everytime now. Starts better or pull cord than starter. Anyone know what they're worth restored? I seen one over in England for £2495 completely restored but it's the only one other than mine I've seen. Any information appreciated. Thanks

I have the same quad but it doesn’t run could u do a video on how to replace the battery
@AdamzGarage2 жыл бұрын
If I take mine out to charge sometime soon, I'll make a quick video. If yours is stock, there should be 2 bolts that hold on the metal cover. Located at the back of the seat. Once you get that cover off you should just have some bolts on the negative and positive sides of the battery. Can be a little tricky because one of the wires isn't very long so it's hard to pull out to gain access. But over pretty easy job.

Thanks for the comment. They can be hard to come by in good shape. I think you can still get them from Meyer (aftermarket) but front and backs would run like $500. I'm always on the lookout for parts quads. I'll let you know if I find anything.

More than likely worn rings. Mine always smokes a bit on start up, then clears out. If it continues to smoke after running awhile, then more than likely rings.
