I was at home that day. As I Popsider, I watched the disaster on TV. My mum had NO idea. But I knew damned well, what it would have been like at the bottom of the pile. Horrific. I told her "They're dying in there" and mum just kept going "What" and "What do you mean".

This was the very first match my Dad took me too. I was 16. Heartbreaking hearing the news about Hillsborough on the coach back home. RIP to all

Was at this game also. In the Mitre pub in Town after when news kept coming in from Sheffield about the tragedy.

I was in the Manchester United player's bar at half time, watching the Hillsborough tragedy unfold, alone side two of the greatest men in football history, Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Matt Busby. Brian Robson left the bar and couldn't watch it.

We finished 5th that season and would have played in Europe if not for the ban on English clubs. Wright perhaps the best CH in the country at the time and Saunders and Goddard a great partnership.

Ted McMinn was a player I liked a lot, Maiirana could have been special if not for injuries

Maiorana was a bright spot at a bleak time.

I was there too, with.my dad. We were stood at the fence near the players tunnel. and a policeman was stood nearby. We could hear something coming though on his radio to him about Hilsborough. A very sad a surreal day.

@@markhayes4149 yep sort of true .I was in K Stand that day and people were laughing but it quickly stopped once the scale of the disaster was known. We were initially told a wall had collapsed like at Leeds game at St Andrews 4 yrs earlier

Steve Bruce on toast 😂

Yes Saunders always had Bruce on toast, just like he did with Adams at Arsenal.
