Was our neighbor in Nashville back in the 60’s-70’s. One day he just left his family behind, wife, two daughters and moved to Hawaii. They never recovered. No respect for him here.

@@ronwhitfield7951 Rudi was one of the best educated persons to ever play the steel guitar.I have a lot of Jerry’s LPs and I will never play them boring and never heard him play anything other than his over use of the volume pedal.If Jerry was the only one playing Hawaiian music I would have never like Hawaiian music.

If you could play 1 percent like Jerry count yourself fortunate. KZbin doesn't do justice to this master musician. Look him up and see his work with some of the most respected singers of the times.
