Nice job young man, I still rely on my 7116H for mowing and snow blowing. Where did you find the carb? Mine is slowly going bad, a rebuild kit won't do because I can see the wear at the shafts for the throttle. My son calls mine The Beast because besides mowing and snow blowing I use it to pull logs out of the woods when I cut trees for fire wood. Here's a tip if you plan on getting a snow blower for it, get a set of the rubber tire chains for the rear. They don't leave marks on a blacktop driveway and actually work better than the all chain link chains, because the rubber strips that do the gripping turn a little and act like paddles and don't slip as much as the all link chains. I made a box from plywood that I attach to the rear and fill with anything heavy for winter weight. They're great machines, just wish the OEM mufflers were still available because all the options that will work are louder. If you plan on doing paint work Rustoleum Case orange and Navajo white are the colors that match factory and easier to find.

I have another tractor that needs a similar treatment. I'll make a video for ya when I get some time

Sweet machine, motor rebuild should make that thing solid. Thing sounds mint! I need to get a new tranny on the 52, first gear is gone. Although if you know of where replacement gears can be obtained let me know. Also I like the stack setup. The one mistake I made on my rebuild was not using zinc based break in oil, lesson learned there. Also a suggestion would be to shave down those bolts on the exhaust clamp. Good video!

@@vintagesimplicitytractors9464 Hey there, quick question, I am looking at a 914 Allis with the Shuttle tranny, do you think its a decent tractor, I know this simplicity one has a shuttle aswell, I am trying to figure out if the 914 ALLIS would be a good tractor for pulling heavy dump carts and running a dozer blade. Thanks dude

@@Sparky20Simulation yes! They are great unless trans is wore out and they squeel and don't have Any reverse. Most likely it has a Kohler, a good engine but I prefer my Briggs.

@@Sparky20Simulation it'll pull don't worry but your not gonna get traction in snow

@@vintagesimplicitytractors9464 snow isn't a problem for me, I am using the tractor for my landscaping business basically as just a tractor for pulling a dump trailer a crap load, I don't want to pre maturely wear out my prized SImplicities. But I agree that the Briggs engines are way better then the Kohler motors. Also I found out the tractor is 4 hours away so I don't know that its worth the time to get it if it has a potentially bad tranny.
