同社の「飛翔鮫」の続編的位置付けで、人気作タイガーシリーズの集大成ともいえる作品。8方向レバーでファイターを操作し、パワーアップアイテムやボンバーを駆使して、10箇所の戦地を破壊しながら進んでいく。武器はワイド、ビーム、ファイヤーとアイテムによって変化し、特定のアイテムを取ることで最大3段階までパワーアップすることができる。最強時のファイヤー攻撃は圧巻。難易度が壮絶に高く上級者・マニア向けの内容だが、2人同時プレイバージョンは比較的低難度。国内ではそれほどヒットしなかったが、海外ではその作風が支持を受けたという。
ストーリー:
19X9年、S軍のガブール侵攻に端を発した大戦で圧倒的軍事力を誇るS軍重機兵団「レッド･スター」は、その猛威で中東の小国「大民国」を今まさに落とさんとしていた。残虐非道の侵略をくり返すS軍に追い込まれた大民国解放軍「憂民」は、前聖戦の英雄機「フライング･シャーク」に最後の力を注ぎ「ファイヤー・シャーク」として蘇らせた。 行け！「ファイヤー･シャーク」！コードネームは「鮫！鮫！鮫！」だ！

It so easy as there's hardly any fire back from the enemies. Doesn't look like it gets any harder once he's completed all the levels.

Set the PCB to very hard and play it past loop 4. Also 1P version is much harder.
