Somebody has been pulling out all their old North Shore Contest VHS tapes and uploading alot of content lately... This TV coverage of the contest I have never seen before. Brings back a ton of memories. I was living with Latronic every winter and working either for this TV crew, Bob Hurley (Billabong) or Bill Delaney as watercameraman. I was in the water with Merkel all day long this day. The bottom line was none of the other contestants had a chance against Cheyne on this day - but that's a whole different story...
