1989 Box Chevy Build Ep.17 How to install QA1 Control Arms and Coilovers!!

In this episode of the Box Chevy Build Ill be installing QA1 Pro-Touring Control Arms and Coilovers. I cleaned and painted the spindles and put new powerstop rotors on with a fresh set of bearings!

I’m sorry to hear about your Grandfather. 😔 RIP🙏 That caprice is looking better and better every time you put hands on it. You’re definitely going above and beyond. I like the qa1 stuff but something about that upper ball joint looks odd. You may either need a different ball joint or maybe have your spindle machined to accept the larger ball joint. I know you didn’t have everything tightened and torqued down yet, but I just thought I would mention that. I can’t wait to see it all painted and together with the paint, the roof, the interior and all. I know you’re gonna hit a home run with that one. 💪

when you grease the bearing push it in the big end until it comes out the small send not on the side that way it gets clearer through the bearing hope that helps

Thanks bro! You’re right about the power tools tho, when doing my research i hear that all the time. On the front end i only used it to tighten up the upper control arms a lil because the bolts was just mocked up there nothing has bn torqued yet! 🦾💯
