I did this for my 1969 c10 and added a sway bar to the front and rear. Holy cow, does my truck handle better than a brand new Camaro! I can take the curves on my road and the truck never even leans and tracks so much better than I expected.

I recently got a 69 c19 myself too and I have a 6.0 lq4 with a 4l80e transmission and for the rear i have differential from a 03 suburban posi and was wondering what’s the link for the suspension

I'm doing this to mine as well. The instructions say I'll need a diff year disc brake kit. What did you do?

@@farmingngu If you're referring to your truck as a 1969 C10, the 1969 didn't have front disc brakes. The ball joints, I think, supplied with my kit were for a 1971. 1971 are different from 1969 ball joints. 1973, I think, are different from a '71-'72. So you'll need the disc system for a 1971-72 C10. I'm speculating on all of this information, so don't take my word for it. I'd call QA-1 and find out if I'm accurate or not to be sure. Good luck, you'll really dig the handling and braking when you're finished. It'll make you want to drive some curvy roads.

I just installed the same kit on my 86 C10. I put the same amount of shims in the upper control arm and still have too much negative camber but the length of the bolts are seemingly too short to add more shims. Any recommendations? I haven’t spoken to QA1 yet.

I have got a brand new curry rear member and want front and rear QA-1 suspension installed. Also willwood brakes. Will you do this job for me? Im in Conn and can drive truck to you 1986 Silverado short bed low miles.

Why didn’t you clean and paint front end and frame while you have everything off?

We are doing a lot of fab work to the truck still and plan on taking everything apart to sand and paint the whole frame once all our modifications are done.

Didn't want to take the time to clean and paint everything? Never understood why people spend time and money on nice parts and leave the original parts looking like shi*. Spent more time editing the video than taking care of the suspension components HAHAHAHAHA!!

Here we were installing the parts for the first time and getting it setup as a roller. Once we get everything setup the way we want it and all the cutting or frame modifications done we are going to tear everything off and refinish everything. We don’t want to do that now and cut it or grind later for welding and redo the finishing.

It's being worked on slowly to the side. We have had other projects going on that have been taking up a lot of our time. I'm hoping to get an update video out soon with the progress that has been made.

Are those the stock spindles or are they drop spindles? I am getting ready to do this to my truck but would like to keep the stock height and stock spindles. Great job! I am inspired!

We have drop spindles on the truck. We want the truck to be pretty low. I'm pretty sure no matter what if you do this the truck will be lowered some, but using the stock spindles will help it be closer to the stock height.

Didn’t do any detail work to the frame,suspension looks good but rest looks like shit. No pride put a little more work in to it!

This was the initial installation of the kit. The whole frame is going to be blasted and painted once all the fab work is complete. No point in cleaning up now if we are going to continue to grind paint off and weld.
