Your absolutely right brother BullDog Mack’s built the northeast I also drove the Dm 600 series the Dm 685 tin nose the 800 series the early RD tin nose 822 sx the tin nose RD 600 series R model And a U model tractor dumps mixer packer rolloff plowed snow in a 64 b81 here in Jersey you can’t beat these mechanical Mack’s for work They are Strong and Reliable

Nice truck Daniel !!! A solid good old Mack... I have an 86 R600 350 4valves 12 speed Runs beautifully. Use it as a yard truck with a barko 80 loader for m'y sawmill. Thanks for sharing

Hi, I’m on Vancouver Island and I had an 86 Superliner, that had a 500 V8 with a 12 speed, I sold it a few years ago after doing a complete resto on it because of health issues, sure hated to part with it, there’s nothing like a Mack Superliner with a 500 in it, that engine just rumbled.

A very popular truck over here in Australia we loved them over here I've driven a few different Mack Trucks in my trucking career , Maxidyne R Modal ,Coolpower F Modal , Superliner 440 V8 Valueline 400, CLR Mack E9 V8 525 set up on a dyno boy that machine get up and go the two makes of engines I prefered too drive would have been Mack or CAT engines it's a shame they could not get the omissons down on the E9s or the CAT motors cheers "RB" Albury Australia

My parents my employers gave me this same truck in 1990 a dump with drop axle big step up from 74 Ford l9000 it was brand-new just didn't sell too nice. Ran it 5 yrs problem free traded for another new 95 mack. Monster turbo a rocket ship 😂

Yes you did . I went to our Show up in Seaforth Saturday morning . Despite the weather we still managed to get over 50 trucks this year . The truck is originally from London area . I bought it from the original owner. In 2002 was on # 4 Colonel Talbot Rd south of 401 .

I’ve driven a lot of Mack trucks B 81 DM 600-800 RD 600-800 tin nose. R model U model dumps mixer rolloff packer but never had the privilege of driving a Super Dog

Endt 866 375 HP that’s the silver coled engine I think the 865 or 864 twin turbo they were gold coled engines the 866 had some head gasket problems but they will out pull and out work a 350 Cummins

Yes the one I had was silver . It pulled really well I’d say similar to a 425 Cat power wise .

HOW MANY GEARS DOES IT HAVE?

It has N Eaton Fuller RTX15715 transmission which is a 15 speed overdrive. From the factory . So the shift pattern is normal with high gear all the way to t right and back instead of being to the right and up against the dash like he ones guys make into overdrives by turning the gears around .

Also 2 of the airbags are original from the 2000 CH suspension and do seep a bit if you leave the suspension aired up if sitting a while so eventually they will get changed . I don’t use the truck often so it’s not top priority .

That is a good suspension you put on. New way suspension isn’t my cup of tea. Did it have a new way

Yes it was originally a New way . Which is a good suspension but the Hendrickson is simpler less moving parts to wear out and gives a better ride than the New Way did .

New way bushings are expensive, the eyes rot out for the bushing. I do not believe they are very good. But to each is there own

Sorry my original 12 and got broke in half in the accident so unfortunately it wasn’t an option to use it . The 15 was what I had available to work with .

Yes he was . Never heard anyone say anything bad about the guy . The little bit I got to visit with him my dad and I got to hear some cool stories from his career .
