The seat clamp lug and Internal cable routing was common for the top Team bikes on the late 80's like the Team America. The catalog clearly shows that. The PICS system video also shows the "name on the bike" process which anyone could opt for in their purchase..

During that period of time Panasonic bikes had a program where you could have your name printed on the bike they made specifically for you. This person may be someone who moved to your location.
