I took my truck out to Fullerton station to watch the trains. I couldn't leave with a full air tank though.

That horn screams 'Santa Fe'! Wonderful horn and doppler effect capture! That was a very nice horn and brings the retro-vibes, especially on that '89 Dodge Ram-Charger!

Reminds me of one night back in the summer of '20 when an eastbound BNSF with a D9 leader passed my house while saluting the two grade crossings nearby. Nothing is better than the wide font and narrow font eras of K3LA!

It's 3 bells mounted on a manifold to make one horn.

@12myoung12 жыл бұрын

DieselSmoke92 was a 30 gallon tank strapped in where the back seat used to be. Either charged with a compressor at home or 12v one in vehicle. Not a big 12v one sadly. Used a solenoid valve to control air. Found it sounded better with valve at tank to allow rise and fall from hose expansion
@TracksideTyson6 жыл бұрын
How long could you honk on the 30 gallon tank?
@911doug6 жыл бұрын
DieselSmoke92 about 30 seconds from 150-40psi.

I’ll do ya one better. I’ve got a 87’ D150 with a Leslie RS5T RRO. I occasionally switch between it and my former UP S5TRF from a U50C.
