@@audiwankenobi361 They're nice cars/trucks, just not "cool" anymore. Toyota hasn't make anything cool that is driver focused and has any originality since the 90's. Don't get me wrong, I love Toyota. I own an 18 4Runner TRD OR. I think the truck/body on frame line is where the coolness ends. Can't beat the reliability of any of their cars, but the current coupes and saloon cars are just like everything else out there these days. No more wow factor the likes of a Celica GT-Four or any of the Supra's and cool Corollas like this one. The new "cool" F-86 and new Supra aren't original, no uniqueness. Shared with Subaru and BMW...the only growing is I guess they are "grown up" cars now. :)

i'd paint the rims satin black, lower it a little but only a little. other than that, it could use a repaint but no different color. and then you have a awesome great clean looking car in my eyes
@jerrybillings3039
@jerrybillings3039 5 жыл бұрын
Well the thing is, the red/black is the original color scheme for that particular set of wheels. They did come in other colors, but as for the set on this car, the red/black is exactly how they should be, painting them would likely lower the value on a rare set of wheels.

These are awesome and very underrated cars criminally overshadowed by it's predecessors. Very popular and very beloved in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. Unfortunately most of them have crashed and they are a rare sight on the roads in decent shape. The Sprinter Trueno version has pop up headlights and look just as cool. They have very interesting bucket seats. Like many other cars,US safety regulations ruined their looks. The Corolla GTS of this generation had those hideous oversized bumpers.

@@PacificCoastAuto oh yeah I want to get it back to its original paint it has only minor rust on pinch welds and small scratches. I just fixed its missfire last weekend. Needs new pads and rotors all around but for 900 dollars and being in minnesota its pretty clean still. Plus it has 164k miles on it so its less than most cars its age.

These cars are excellent classics from the past wonderful days when Japan made great cars and now they suck at making cars I just actually hope that one day Japan gets it all together again and then start building fabulous cars all over again just like the 60s 70s 80s 90s and 2000s and now the Koreans are killing the market now because the Koreans have surpassed the Japanese all together but hopefully Japan will definitely fight back and start building great cars all over again
