当時アメリカで人気の高かったアニメ「ティーンエイジ・ミュータント・ニンジャ・タートルズ」をゲーム化したもの。舞台は1990年のニューヨーク。世界征服を企む計画が進行していた。シュレッダー率いるフット軍団の野望を打ち砕くため、4匹の亀忍者は立ち向かう。この頃のゲームにしては珍しく、アイテムは体力回復のピザのみで、パワーアップや特殊武器などは一切ない。アニメの知名度を利用し、安易にゲーム化されたものではなく、丹念に練り込まれたゲームシステムに好感が持てる。全9ステージ。 2プレイバージョンも存在する。
ストーリー:
すっごいカメが現れた。全米を熱狂のウズにたたき込み、太平洋とハワイを一気に泳ぎきり、ついにスバヤク日本列島上陸。カメなのに陽気、カメなのにキュート、カメなのに当世一大の人気者。その名も「T.M.N.T」 こいつらの元気は、ふつうじゃないぜ。
