David Von Internetsen well maybe not. The story isn't really that strong in this game because the main focus was the 4 player Co op. But maybe with a few tweaks yeah. But just not a copy and paste type deal. Because then it would have a lot of fill in sences.

So this was the Japanese version of The Simpsons game, since it has a score (not the body count the US version has). This was the best game of all those featuring The Simpsons.

For some reason Konami games with what I'll call the "Turtles engine" turned to using a body count, starting with the Turtles, for the International version, but I guess in Japan they prefer a multiple of 100. Also, the Japanese versions of many such games tend to be easier, with more power ups (or in the case of the X-Men game, "with power-ups")

@@edwardgaines6561 they hadn't yet figured him out. When the game came out, only the first season and a half of the show were "there" to work with. Only a bit later did Smithers' sexuality get figured out.

They should make a new Simpsons Arcade Game followup. There would be way more than enough material to base levels and characters on now. If they for example, make Princess Kashmir playable, she should have a sexy belly dance fighting style (and she could transform herself from Shawna Tifton into the Princess when she shows up). Also: 1. Sideshow Bob could be a recurring boss character. 2. New levels based on later episodes, including the new Squidport, Springfield Mall, the one where you have to go to Glucose Island and stuff. Also, would a "Smoke On The Daughter" bonus level be okay here? (smoke to improve your ballet!). PS. Any other improvements?
