40:50 Jeff Ward. Did that 500 need electric start? That is some skill there. Short Jeff Ward on a 1990 KX500: The first to remount a MX bike like a horse with stirrups. He is balancing a stalled 500 like a Trials rider long enough, (about 3.5 seconds) to start it, (1.5 kicks), took off an never touched the ground. Glad I lowered my bike a bit. :)

Bayle not racing because he held his values against team tactics. To him, the racing was about the individual. I think he was more American than us. I always liked the guy. Individuals liked him. Establishment? Maybe not so much.
