Great to see footage with no commentary at all.. It felt good just to see the guys at the gate getting ready for the races.. Chicken, Guy Cooper, Damon Bradshaw, seeing how short Ward is getting on his bike.. : 0) I'm so glad I grew up racing dirt bikes back in this time.. Thanks again for the footage..

Thank you sir for posting so many great videos! My new favorite channel on you tube, Gary Bailey. Your son was THE smoothest, most PRO rider of the era, a genius on a MX bike. He was and remains one of my life long hero’s...and I’m 52 years old!

Excellent Video! Well done! Hangtown is my home track since it came to Prairie City in 1979 - from Plymouth. I have practiced and raced on that track many times and raced Hangtown event on Sportsman day as Intermediate 125 - The track can be as hard as pavement in some areas and do some damage if you fall at speed. Good to see and hear Bruce Flanders doing the post race Interviews! He is the fans favorite all time announcer for Hangtown. Gary - Thank you very much for this video!

This is the true root motocross, even the 125 were more than the 450 today. Lol
