1990 Chevy TRASH truck to TEEN'S first truck!

On this episode of Fixin' Two we visit our friend, Conner and take a look at his 1990 Chevy Silverado. The cool thing about this truck is that his great grandfather bought the truck new in 1990. It was then sold to a local assisted living facility. There, it was used as the maintenance and trash truck for MANY years. Now it's back in the family and is going to be Connor's first truck. Let's get some exhaust work done to replace the blown out muffler and fix a rusted tailgate.

Sounds good. My opinion is I don't remember everything I did right in all my years of working on cars. But I can remember most everything I had to redo. Best ways to learn too.

Nice truck! Not many of that body style left in decent shape anymore, especially in my area. Underside looks pretty clean (not rusted out). I guess it helps that you don't have a lot of ice and snow in winter like we do up north. Hope your friend gets many more years out of it.
