La cosa incredibile di Roberto é vedere che faceva sempre la scelta giusta. É rarissimo vederlo perdere palla. In questo video poi, si vede come cresca durante il passare dei minuti, come nella prima parte non spenda troppo alla ricerca di chissá quale "giocata". Sembra quasi abbottonato. Nel secondo tempo invece inizia a mostrare una qualitá superiore a tutti in campo. Che giocatore. L'estro e la fantasia al servizio della squadra.

Baggio when healthy (was injury prone) was as skilled and great as any player I've seen. I never saw Pele in his prime, but did see Maradonna, Zidane, Platini, Ronaldo (both), Messi etc. This guy was every bit as good at his peak, the problem was his peak wasn't long enough due to debilitating injuries.

Ronaldo also never reach his peak because of those horrible knee injuries. No many stars today. Messi & Cristiano looks better because of media and marketing. Now Messi's ordinary nutmeg on Milner or Kolarov got viral on social media while Ronaldo already nutmeg countless people in an unordinary fashion and also nutmeg two people at once while he's in Inter. If I remember, Baggio become Serie A Top Scorer at the late of his carreer when he played for Bologna. He also carried Brescia to such extent. I can't imagined Messi doing that kind of things in other lower teams. Just look how contrast either he and his stats in Barca and Argentina. In this era Messi is the best footballer, but I don't believe he's the GOAT. Maradona and Ronaldo before knee injuries impressed me much more while they don't have a stable carreer like Messi and Cristiano.

@@JunisRed02 Ronaldo reached his peak and then he had the injury ....there was not anymore upside...now if you want to talk about a player who could have had even a greater upside it was Roberto Baggio who had numerous knee surgeries from the beginning of his career to the end. ROnaldo when he lost that explosiveness from the injury was done as a player. When baggio lost his speed from injuries he continued to play at a high level. That was only possible due to this skills which to this day I only consider Maradona to be slightly superior and equal to Zidane

legendary JINX of football. He was color commentator for the national team between 1986 and 2002. Before he came and after he went Italy won WC. In between nothing. We had the greatest teams ever in 1990-1994, an amazing team in 2002. Nothing. Bruno Pizzul's fault.
