The Isuzu Rodeo was also called the Faster, so that might explain the floormat. Also they extremely reliable, just like the Hilux but these don’t have the “Toyota tax”.

Here in Australia those are badged as Holden Rodeo's. And we say ROW-DAY-OH. Interested to hear the actual Japanese pronunciation, and to see if Australia has been pronouncing it wrong since 1980 hah!

A four wheel drive for a camper? Almost never heard of in North America. The camper here also appears to be built on an Isuzu pickup truck platform. The Rodeo was a sport utility vehicle in the USA, at least. Was the Rodeo really a pickup truck in Japan?

Kevin Woodard In Japan, the Rodeo was the pickup, and the SUV variant (our Rodeo) was called the MU Wizard I think.

I bought my 30ft travel trailer for the basically the same price as that Rodeo RV, yeah my trailer is bigger and newer, but I rather would have the Rodeo instead. I am supposed to be moving to a new state in a month and I am trying to find someone to tow it for a reasonable price, this trailer became a ball and chain.

Matthew Wells when I bought I was displaced where I lived, I was given some money but the rents here are more then my monthly check and I needed a place to stay with in 2 days or I would have lost the money. So I took a gamble my health would hold out and it did not, plus November 5th I lost my 36 year old to a heart attack, so my sister under me knows I am having health problems wants me to come home.
