Where I live they are loved. Sadly only 1 gt turbo lives on my island and 1 ep71 turbo. My ep82 is getting a 4efte soon which I'm excited for.

Ah yes the starlet. The more I see them the more I want one. I have a 97 paseo convertible, which shares some parts with the starlet along with the tercel, like brakes and suspension

I would definitely recommend owning one. I’ve had more luck finding parts off of the Tercel specifically but will definitely look into the Paseo too!

headlight are oem from the last refresh the ep82 had. so 94-95. the tailights are from 92-95. you're gt should've had the large amber flasher tails. nice starlet btw.❤ i also own a 92 Gt 😊

For me I have mainly had to use Tuning Developments, ID-Workz, and a few other places overseas in the UK and Nengun in Japan for some parts. Have you found anyone stateside that keeps items on hand for maintenance? Even cross referencing part numbers with Terce, Paseo takes a lot of time. Like the blower motor I went through an entire catalogue to find one close enough to work as a replacement. I miss my 1982 Toyota Starlet a lot. And when The Import Guys had this one show up I jumped on getting it knowing it's old and needed a lot of tender loving care. Just have not been able to drive it for nearly 3 months awaiting Steering and suspension parts. Thanks for your content.

my ep71 is not a gt but it's still very cool as seeing mint ep71 is not an everyday thing. still, as my one is an ep71 and not an ep70, a turbo engine swap might make it a really good wannabe gt. last but not least, you have such a cool little pocket rocket congrats that you got her, would love to get an ep82 gt myself someday. Pushing more than 180hp I guess

My friend used to have a toms body kit gt quad light like this in white ct9 hybrid with 205bhp. He later had a forged glanza livesports kit with around 250bhp

Those headlights are OEM from the facelifted EP82. Your 1990 car should have the big single headlights from factory. And the grill is not OEM also. You're just missing the TOMS spoiler to finish off the bodykit! Great looking car, didnt know these made it to the US.

This is an ep82 gt not a glanza. The glanza is the newer model ep91. Love the fwd starlets nonetheless, more common here in NZ

The turbo will be a blitz k1, it’s their hybrid version of the ct9. Very rare now. I’m guessing it’s prob been on track at some point so would explain the big oil cooler. I have a track glanza

Ps I heard you saying you want to buy another jdm toyota, I dont know if you know about the levin but if you can find a ae101 levin gtz ( supercharged ) but i think you may like it or the ar111 bzr levin with the 2v blacktop motor .
