In their 25 years in the AFC, the Seahawks only made 5 postseasons, and only 2 as a division champion. Since moving to the NFC, the Seahawks have been in the playoffs more frequently as well as division champs. They won Super Bowl 48. In 2021, the NFL is expanding to a 17-game schedule. Each team will still play 8 home and 8 road games exactly, the 17th game for each team will be a neutral-site game, played either in a non-NFL city in the US or in another country. The Seahawks are in close proximity to the Canadian city of Vancouver, thus making that city Seahawks territory. Occasionally, the Seahawks could play their 17th game in Vancouver.

If only Dave Krieg could have been more consistent. When he was on, it was usually over for the opposition. When he was off or so, we’ll not do great. But for a guy drafted from a small (and soon to be) non existent Milton College he was far more than could ever be expected.

Boomer Esiason vs Dave Kreig in this Monday Night Football 1990 game. Two great QB going at each other's throats in the noisy Kingdome!😊. Frank Gifford Dan Dierdorf and Al Michaels on the call for this game on ABC at 9pm. The Twin peaks intro to this game was so cool and Seahawks had good ass classic games on MNF.

The Seahawks were indeed 0-3 comin into the game after an overtime loss in Denver. Bengals on the other hand were 3-0.

Wow, five straight on the road (not sure which game they moved, think it was the Oiler game 10/14 due to the NLCS) and they *still* made the playoffs. Last playoff win to this day too

Trivia: Verne Lundquist and Dan Fouts did this game, not Summerall and Madden (did Cowboys/Giants at the Meadowlands), continuing the Raiders futiity as the AFC glamour team in NFC/AFC matchups on CBS (S/M may have done the Bears/Raiders blooper bowl in the 87 finale, I don't remember) Incidentally, Lundquist would end up doing Hawks preseason games in the 2000s up to I think 2011, then Curt Menefee took over.
