In retrospective, it makes sense why she never "made it" (i hate that expression) back in the early 10s. No one was doing it like her back then. Just think about the popular songs back then... Nothing was ever remotely close to this sound! She was so ahead of her time, and to think that she was just 19-21 when she came up with all these songs... Not a single artist before or after her will ever match her, and I hope ppl will come to their senses and realize the amazing talent she has.

This song is literally a craft of genius. She snatchd house music from the 90s and refurbished the old rap bits with a modern bk rap. This is the quality you would expect from an art school alumni very much like 2pac and she really delivered. Artists live mentally in two different logical and abstract worlds most of the time but sometimes the stress from one can make a person vacate residency for the other entirely. Artistic genius and sanity tread a fine line.

@@hottieschicken this 100%. people seem to focus in on how nasty she is just because she’s a woman and she’s black it’s a subconscious narrative that society spins. Best believe that shit You gonna be a bitch nigga, I'mma be that bitch Believe that shit, believe that shit Nigga, I'mma be that bitch, what? [Verse 3] Come around, come around Let the little Bambi run it down, run it down Went from sippin' Bailey's, sipping champys on the isles Nineteen number, naughty baby, press it on your dial Sex kitten honeys, no cougars in the house I'mma hush the rumors and the doubt Came in the game with a beat and a bounce Never for the fame, my feet on the ground Cloud number nine, headed to the stars Maybe I ride with my mic in my bra Maybe I recite in the raw The appetite for life and the hunger for the more The island of Manhattan, I was Born in New York City never slumbers I would always dream but never sleep to the hundreds Cocoa want the cream in abundance Million dollar baby, you can get it if you want it, what? [Refrain] NY rose me, most high chose me Let me know what I can-can-can-can do for you If you don’t speak, boy, you know you won't see none Let me know what a man-man-man-man-man you are NY rose me, most high chose me Let me know what I can-can-can-can do for you If you don’t speak, boy, you know you won't see none Let me know what a man-man-man-man-man you are

She seriously needs to do more tracks like this. No one else is doing hip hop that sounds like this.

She's rappin' here but that isn't hip-hop. O.K.., it's cool, sounds good, nice lyrics... etc., but undeniably isn't hip-hop ;)
