Sounds good, not much louder than my 87 with Flowmaster cat-back stainless(not cheap) but mine broke right behind joint to cat about 150 miles from home, after that ride, my head rattled for a day or so after, yours is a bit harsher in tone,but I went for their "moderate " sound as I tend to put down 200 or more miles every time it goes out . the garage that put on the system loved it ,every thing needed was in the box,and fit was perfect-no tweaking,I was in their office when they fired it up,and compared to the original 30 plus year old system it sounded mean,and being stainless looks good,and should stay that way-just boght a near mint 95 with full stainless system that sounds even better ,lower tone.

I did what you did, got rid of spare and all that goes with it, and of course got rid of the weight of the mufflers. I'm going to get the rear end lowering kit which is a couple of bolts, nuts, caps, bushings... that should do the trick and give the car a good stance. My delete pipes came with the built in rectangular tips which should be easier to line up... just twist the pipe a bit. 'm not sure what drone is, but whatever, it's a hot rod. let it drone... nice video!

You should put that spare sub tire back under the rear. Besides having a spare if you get a flat, more importantly, to those who say about weight reduction, you don't want to reduce the weight from the rear. If anything you want more weight on & over the rear "axle" area. This helps with the car hooking up better, getting better traction. Even more importantly, that spare cover actually acts as a rear diffuser, & technically is one. The rear diffuser helps with the aerodynamics, drag, stability, gas mileage, & yes even down-force. The air that flows over, on the sides of, & under the bottom of the car all interact with each other. So long story short, by taking that plastic spare cover off, it will affect & decrease the others. I'm not trying to knock you or anything, just some friendly advice from not only a fellow Corvette owner, but also a guy who is very well educated in high end performance & customs.

Ferdinand Martinez its been a dream of mine when I get a job and a l98 tpi car(I'm in high school) to make it fast, make big power especially torque from the L98 whether I use TPI or not. I KNOW that 350 can make it. But the TPI System is very restrictive
@michaelroecker26494 жыл бұрын
Absolutely,I was lucky enough to experience a black 87 and a black 93,the 87 L98 had a load more neck snapping torque off the line...I mean that 87 could put you in the seat and not let you out till the throttle was off.

@clydemoreno18546 жыл бұрын
If you dont fix that tilt steering the VATS gremlins will eventually get you as the wires in the tumblr will crimp. Unless you already have a VATS delete. If not Painless makes a real nice module. The vette sounds great!!
@cvsahara6 жыл бұрын
Good callout. I want to avoid any VATS issues for as long as possible but will likely do a delete down the line.

I fought that vats system for years in a camaro. Took the steering wheel off a good half a dozen times before I bypassed the system the right way.

@@cvsahara The thing that controls valve opening? Sorry for the basic questions. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, it controls length and duration of the valves opening and closing. On this motor it also controls distributor timing

Put you some newer vette wheels on there. I put some c6 19/18 on my 94. Makes a big difference on the stance.

Respectfully disagree, not appropriate for the vehicle, that year came with killer wheels, however I'm sure you got yourself a sweet c4. I absolutely love the c4,America's sport car.

So what do you do if you get a flat
@cvsahara6 жыл бұрын
I carry a plug kit and have a small inflator in one of the compartments. Otherwise, if it was a blowout, I'd have to phone a friend or use the free tow I get with my insurance. As you can see, the old spare would have left me in the same situation. Good question!

Only downside is the car being an automatic. You never get to enjoy the higher rpms as often and as ling as you would with a standard. Mines the 4+3 and i’ll never drive a sports or performance car in anything other than Standard Shift.

I agree, the auto definitely takes away from the enjoyment factor for me.
