Its pure restoration; each and every part was removed, repaired, colored & fitted. My dad had the same car but after he passed away I had to sell it as I was unable to maintain it. It was indeed a heart breaking moment for all of us at home. Appreciate the effort... 👍

This video brought back SO MANY GREAT Memories. The Premier Padmini aka Fiat Padmini was one of the BEST Cars to have during the 80s and the 90s. Easy to drive, Super Easy to Maintain, ample seating and storage, not a fuel guzzler. The Gear Shift Stick mounted behind the Steering Wheel was awesome and simple to use as well. Ample View from all sides. All corners were clearly visible to the driver for easy driving and maneuvering through hectic Indian traffic. Unfortunately, this great vehicle will not sell if relaunched today. The design and Chasis are too basic and unattractive in comparison to today's flashy vehicles. However, Adults who once rode in these vehicles as kids may just go out and buy it to relive the old days. I know I would. Too many Great Memories to simply give up. Felt very good to see the Fiat coming back to life. I can only imagine the pains taken for a complete and authentic restoration with relevant parts and accessories.

We had a white Premier Padmini. Whenever I see a Padmini on the road, it invokes a sense of nostalgia. It had no complicated computer or electronics. I distinctly remember my uncle repairing his ambassador and our Padmini ! Good ol days!

@@pummyy woah! Hold it. Back then we did not have many choices when it came to automobiles and the roads were less crowded. It is clearly seen that you've never owned a Padmini, Ambassador or Contessa . Back then, car wasn't accessible for all and it makes no sense to compare them with modern cars

I have got a lot of memories of this car FIAT PREMIER PADMINI. I learnt how to drive on this car when i was a teenager I had 2 of these cars DEB 3714 and the other was DHD 3091. I remember these cars till today .

It's great that Premier Padmini can be restored and not sent to the junk. I have one still running, 1985 one (Petrol). Some parts are not available. Wish somebody could assist. Your car has a great look now, and I hope one day Premier Padmini will be again on the Indian roads.

It’s great to see old car like Padmini restored , it’s part of our history i love these old cars and bikes from 80s& 90s era coz it reminds me of my childhood days 🥳only thing is now we don’t see these types of cars on road due to new rules I think there should be some kind of exception given to rightly restored classic cars and bike which are under non pollutant vehicle just like other countries like us or uk

My father had one of this we roamed alot to get it restored but unfortunately no kne agreed to work even aftet taking budget of 1-lac mechanic regused for body work,by force this legend ended up despite of fine engine only coz of rusty body we lost this legend,glad to see this been restored. We had sofa seats as well as LPG perfect refined engine but we were unfortunate for this legend.
